Hardball BIG STICK ELITE Hokkaido Erman's Birch
BK32 Model 84cm (Reddish Brown x Brown)

Hokkaido-grown wood Made in Japan BFJ Certified for Official Games Lightweight Model

Crafted from Erman's birch grown in Hokkaido, this bat is light and easy to swing. From the very first swing, it will shatter the misconception that "wooden bats are heavy and have no pop."

1

Features of this Bat

  • Hokkaido-grown Erman's birch is a low-density wood. We have utilized this lightness to create a lightweight bat that is easy to swing (averaging 850g at 84cm).
  • Erman's birch is resistant to grain separation, and by designing the bat for "tangential face" (itame) hitting, we have achieved a balance of lightness and durability.
  • It features the BFJ mark and can be used in official hardball games. It is a bat you can take to the plate with confidence.
  • From Hokkaido wood, by Hokkaido manufacturer standards. The fact that it is made from local materials is something we particularly love.
2

Recommended For

  • Junior high and high school players who cannot swing heavy bats and want to first develop the "sensation of swinging through."
  • Those transitioning from metal to wooden bats. Starting with a lighter model makes it easier to get used to handling wood.
  • Batters who want to focus on bat speed and contact.
  • Those looking for a wooden bat that can be used in official games.

Shopkeeper's Insight

Staff Talk

Honestly, I think you'll be surprised by how "light" it feels when you first pick it up. If you approach it with the image that "wood = heavy," you will be pleasantly surprised. I've seen many customers who previously struggled with late swings say, "I feel like I can swing this through."

Being made from Hokkaido Erman's birch is also something we want to support as a shop located in Hokkaido. A bat born from local nature, helping local kids succeed.

I can confidently recommend this as your "first wooden bat."
